- Tribu Salognon – this tribe is from Jaro National High School. The name was derived from the term “Salog” which was Jaro’s old name. It was changed to “Ang Taga-Jaro” for several years until it was reverted to Salognon in 2009 up to the present. Tribu Salognon continues the legacy as the back to back champion of Dinagyang Ati Tribe Competition or 2016 and 2017.

2. Tribu Paghidaet- this tribe is from Lapaz National High School. The tribe’s name is still adopted because of Lapazenians are devoted to Sr. Sto Nino and with the intercession of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, they believed that it shall be blessed with beautiful performances in the prestigious competition.

3. Tribu Ilonganon– this tribe is from Jalandoni National High school. a term coined from the word “Ilonggo” which means a native of Iloilo, is the pride of Jalandoni Memorial National High School (formerly Lapuz High School.) Their entry name under Kasadyahan was Tribu Lapus-Lapus derived from the name of the district where the school is situated – Lapuz.

4. Tribu Dagatnon– this tribe is from Ramon Avanceña National High School. The newest tribe represents Ramon Avanceña National High School (RANHS). It’s been ten years since RANHS first took part in the world-renowned Dinagyang Festival in 1998 as being “Tribu Sigabong.” This means the noise of firecrackers as well as pyrotechnics where the district of Arevalo (Villa) is well-known. Throughout the years, Dinagyang Festival has become a unifying component for the public/private partnership to function together towards a common goal. It’s in the same line of thinking that Ramon Avancena National High School is joining again in this deserving event with the name “Tribu Dagatnon.”
